FERTILITY PRESERVATION

EGG FREEZING
The maximum required time for a complete IVF treatment cycle is 20 days.
This includes the ovarian stimulation and a 2 day resting period following the embryo transfer.
It is important to note that the treatment starts on the third day of the period. So you can schedule

SPERM FREEZING
Sperm freezing is an effective way for men to preserve their fertility and to store the sperm for future use. It is very beneficial in preserving the fertility of men who are considering taking chemotherapy, radiation, or any drugs that may damage sperm quality. It is important to note that men may store their sperm from natural ejaculate if they have an adequate amount, or if they suffer from low sperm count they can store after TESA or MicroTESE.

EMBRYO FREEZING
During IVF treatment if we develop more embryos than what can be used in a single transfer, you have the opportunity to freeze your embryos. These embryos can be used in case you need another cycle of IVF.
Some reasons to consider freezing your embryos include the following:
- You are having IVF treatment and
still have some viable embryos left after transfer. - You are having IVF treatment, but we’ve advised against a fresh transfer at that time.
- You are not ready to have a baby just yet but want to preserve your fertility.
